London calling
Natasha & Josh

"We are both English — I am from Yorkshire whilst Josh is from London — but we have lived in Sydney, Australia, for the last 3 years. We miss England and its history, culture and quirks, so we knew that we wanted to come back to London and get married at 'home' with our family and friends.
"Our dream was to have a multi-venue London wedding with each location representing a little of something we love and miss about England. Old Marylebone Town Hall is an iconic London venue with so much grandeur and history that it felt like the perfect place to start. After our ceremony, we got a black cab to our lunch venue, Coin Laundry on Exmouth Market, a proper London pub, before strolling across to Sessions Art Club for an evening of dancing, spicy margaritas and oysters on the roof terrace."
"I wore the Dahlia in Pearl. The unique texture of the pleats and bow stood out against my simple dress and paired beautifully with the draping and ruffles of my Halfpenny shrug. They were so comfortable, too — critical for a London wedding with plenty of cobble stones.
"When I got changed into my shorter evening dress, I knew I wanted a higher heel for dancing. Having already bought Dahlia for my wedding day, I couldn't see past the Camellia heels. I wore them in blue for a pop of colour with my ivory dress and of course, to be my 'something blue'."
"My wedding look started with the Blaze shrug from Halfpenny London. I have followed Kate Halfpenny's work for years, long long before there was a wedding in sight. I loved the Blaze shrug — it felt so romantic and unique. I ordered it online and it was delivered to my parents house in England. This was especially risky as it meant that I didn't see or try it on until a week before the wedding when I arrived back in England. Luckily, it was perfect!
"I didn't want to take away from how amazing the shrug was, so I chose a beautiful and simple Shona Joy slip dress with a low back. Perfect for showing off the drape of the shrug. Shona Joy is an Australian brand that is local to where I live in Sydney. It was lovely to add a little piece of Australia to the London wedding.
"Finally the evening dress was by Murlong Cres, a Norwegian brand with a slow-fashion ethos I love. The dress itself felt beautiful and timeless."
"Josh's Mum, Kate, was the greatest godsend when wedding planning! We hadn't appreciated how hard it would be to plan a wedding from the other side of the world, so Kate stepped in and helped us with everything — and I mean everything — from the venue bookings through to the details of the dinner settings. So my only tip for wedding planning is to find a great mother-in-law and make her your unofficial wedding planner!"
"We took little moments to just stand together and look out at all of our loved ones; to see them celebrating and having fun."
"Josh and I made sure that we took little moments to just stand together and look out at all of our loved ones; to see them celebrating and having fun. It really isn't something that you can take for granted.
"A stroll through London was something we knew we wanted to incorporate into our day. And not just Josh and I walking through London for pictures, but all our family and friends joining us.
"Coin Laundry and Sessions Art Club were a short walk apart, so all of our guests picked up the vases of flowers, candles and other decorations from Coin Laundry and walked through the streets of London to Sessions Art Club. It resulted in so many beautiful pictures of our best friends, walking laughing, flowers in hand. The photographs of that walk are so joyful and, I think, perfectly represent our day."
"We also can't forget to mention our incredible photographers Jade & Jack. The pictures from our wedding day are so special and I can't quite believe they are ours!"
