"I found my gown at the third bridal shop I visited (third time was definitely the charm!). After trying on many gowns that offered elements that I like, this gown from Saint Bridal married everything I loved into one, clean and modern, but also romantic and timeless. Throughout the process, I started to worry if I would find ‘the one,’ but when I finally put this gown on, I knew. One of my best friends is also a stylist (Cabell Berlin from Styled Sui Generis), and she helped me curate the rest of the bridal lookbook from there, ensuring we reflected the venue, design, and feel of the events. She was adamant that I keep my ceremony shoes on with my second party look, and I’m so glad I listened!"

"When I saw the Alice heel, I think I instantly knew that they would be the perfect complement to my dress. I wanted something simple but elegant, and the satin and shape were just that. The low block heel was also a huge plus, as we had all different terrains at the wedding and comfort was a huge factor for me! They also complemented my second party dress so well, and l was able to dance the night away in them!"

"My husband and I met in grad school at UVA in Charlottesville, so it felt right to get married back where it all began. My family is from the south, while Ben’s is all in the northeast so Virginia also felt like a good compromise! Charlottesville has so much natural beauty, so I knew I wanted to be outside in the springtime, and it is also a well-known wine region. Eastwood offered the perfect canvas to build our spring wedding day around — lush green mountains surrounding, a stunning tent, and an incredible wine selection!"

"Our best friend from grad school married us, and it was so special to share that moment with someone who has witnessed our entire love story. Seeing the design vision also come together was so fulfilling to see — from the wild florals, to the statement paper goods, everything came together seamlessly on the beautiful spring day in April."

"My favorite part of the planning process was taking dance lessons together. Neither of us are dancers by nature, so we wanted to have something planned. But mainly we wanted a fun date night excuse, that allowed us to connect and have a little fun in what can be a stressful period!"

"We shared private vows with each other prior to the ceremony, and it was so special to have that quiet moment to ourselves before the big party. All week long, there was also an ever-changing chance of rain in the forecast for our wedding day. As things trended better day of, we stuck with our plan to have the ceremony on the lawn. We got so lucky—right before we walked down the aisle, there was a tiny sprinkle of rain. At the end of the night, we shared a private last dance while our guests boarded the buses, and during the end of the night the skies opened up and started pouring, so we ran hand in hand back to the buses through the rain to head to the after party! Our private last dance was to our favorite Maggie Rogers song, “Love You for a Long Time.” Just the two of us, soaking in the last moments of the night, while the rain started to fall, is a moment we will never forget."
