Last June, London-based bride Gintarė Burneckė, and her now husband, Mindaugas, returned to their native Lithuania for a fairytale wedding at scenic Vila Komoda. She shared all the details of the beautiful rooftop ceremony, and a breathtaking dress we can’t believe came together in 24 hours.

“It all began with shoes. THESE shoes. I never wear high heels, but I wanted to for my wedding, and if it had to be something it had to be the Camellia Pleated Bow Heels. When I got my hands on them, I couldn’t have been happier!”
“I had my dress made in 24 hours after my first fitting, five days before our wedding. It was designed by the super-talented Aistè Jankienè and her team at UTA Studio. I’d met with Aiste three months before the fitting over Zoom, and I instantly knew we clicked. The dress she created was entirely ‘me,’ and I thank my lucky stars that I found Aistè.”
“While we were location scouting, our wedding planners took us to Vila Komoda, a boutique hotel in Lithuania, just for a quick peek. After three seconds on that rooftop terrace, overlooking pinewood forests, we were sold. We held both the ceremony and cocktail hour there.”
