We visited San Miguel for design inspiration, and found it everywhere we looked, falling in love with the city’s colors —pinks, reds, green and blue, brown and cream. I’ve always wanted to visit the Round Top antiques fair ever since I heard about it from friends like Alex Yeske (who has a beautiful Round Top guide), the girls @sundayshop.co in New Orleans and Kate Towill whose work I admire SO much (@basicprojects). My friend Liz Libré from Lewis and I decided to take a quick excursion there this winter and it was so fun and inspiring for both of us.

I just spent a jam-packed three days in one of my favorite cities to celebrate the launch of our Resort ‘19 collection with a lovely press breakfast. Between meetings and events, we didn’t have too much free time, but still managed to try many of my friends’ recommendations for the best eating, shopping, and activities the city has to offer. Hopefully you have more than three days to experience London, but if not, these are my musts and tips for a quick trip.

I first visited Paris when I was 9 and this was my twins’ first trip abroad at age 10. It felt like the perfect age. They are old enough to have the stamina needed to walk for miles and to listen intently in museums but are also still childlike enough to want to play and run and bounce in the parks. They were game for anything.
